In Spain we have many quality water parks, among the best in Europe. We can start with the one we have based near our office in Torrevieja, followed by the biggest water park in Europe, followed again by the best park in the world.

Flamingo Water Park, Torrevieja

It is not the biggest water park in Torrevieja, as Aquapolis is the biggest and in fact the second biggest water park in Spain. But what I'm about to tell you now might make you think of Flamingo instead. Flamingo is not meant to be large, it is more suitable for children and families. There are plenty of guards at this park making it a relaxing park for parents.

Although you can't bring your own food to the park, lounge chairs and parking are free, and the price of admission is very affordable for most families. Compared to Aquapolis, the price is almost halved.

Aqualandia, Benidorm

Aqualandia opened in 1985 and has been very popular ever since. At the time it was the only water park in Spain and due to the long history they updated the attractions to make it a park of around 20 different attractions.

Big Bang, "4 attractions in one" arrived in 2002. The largest is 28 meters high. It was the tallest in a decade until the new Verti-Go became the tallest in 2013, 33 meters tall, and a world record for its height. On Verti-Go you can reach 100km/h.

The park has free parking and is 150,000 square meters in size. This makes this park the largest in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

Siam Park, Tenerife

Three years in a row, this park has been rated the best in the world.

The park has a Thai theme and green vegetation. In fact, it's the first green water park in the world, and even though it's outdoors, they have incorporated a very good system to always keep the water at 25 degrees. When the water is used by guests, it is recycled and reused for the plants in the park. This park is famous for its rides, as you can be sure they will suit everyone.
